The UCT Open Day was well attended with hundreds of high school graduates and parents flooding UCT Upper Campus to view and assess all the different departments. The GirlEng Team was well placed at Engineering and Built Environment (EBE) faculty buildings and together were able to reach out to over 300 prospective female students! These were promptly invited to the GirlEng Western Cape Information Session happening on the 14^th of May at UCT Upper Campus which is a wonderful opportunity for them to find out more about the different degrees offered in the EBE faculty. This will go a long way in helping the girls make a more informed decision on their choice of degree and ultimately, career path.
